ONLY Partisan Applicants Apply

Some may realize from the previous blog, I will not be listed on the ballot this fall.

I have explained the reason for this to many of you when speaking to you at events or one on one. Many do not seem aware of the lack of equal rights in the politics of many states, including Ohio.
If this sounds like complaining, it is. I do not wish to offend, but to inform.

If I had chosen to run as a Republican or Democrat, I would have needed fifty valid signatures to put my name on the ballot. If I wanted to run as a socialist, communist or green party candidate, I would have needed only 25 valid signatures. Since I wanted to not follow any partisan requirements, and only be responsible to God, the US Constitution and my Constituents, not only did I not have access to the deep pockets of political organizations, I only had to collect 2475 valid signatures. Yes that is not a typo. Since I was running as an independent, I needed 100 times more signatures than a socialist or communist needed, 50 times more than a member of the big two.

I did file a complaint with Ohio Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner and with Ohio Attorney General, Richard Cordray. Of course they are both liberal democrats, so they completely ignored my complaint. I know they received them because I sent the notification and copy of complaint via Certified Return Receipt mail. Yep, I got the little green card back. They simply chose not to respond. They care not about the US Constitution and its guaranteed rights of citizens. They chose to put their faith in biased limiting of competition for party cronies, or so it seems.

Therefore, my name will not appear on the ballot. For now, I will leave my comment at that point, and seek counsel from my Creator as to a next step.

I have received absolutely no comment or acknowledg-ment from Ohio Secretary of State Brunner or Attorney General Cordray. I know they recieved my complaint on the Constitutionality of the Independent signature requirement, but being proper democrats, they both chose to ignore the complaint and the issue of Equal Access to Government.

Many thanks to all of you that have signed petitions and supported my effort.

I have enjoyed my interactions with each of you. A special thank you to Paul Shiffer, the only Republican Candidate for this office to actually sign one of my petitions.

Not certain of my next step?
